Q:
First of all, can you briefly introduce yourself? (Like, where are you from? How long have you been in Shanghai? Which district are you living? What do you do in Shanghai? ,etc.)
A:
I am from Anhui, and I gew up in Shanghai, I have been in Shanghai for 25 years. Right now I live in Changning District in Shanghai, I am working as influences.

How long have you been in this home quarantine? What's the situation of your area or building? How do you manage to solve the basic grocery problem? Do you have enough supplies at the moment?
A:
It has been almost 3 weeks since the 1st April. We have 8 our of 25 building which tested positive, and our building is one of them, so we are still in strict lockdown. Our groceries basically rely on the compound group purchase, so far, we have groceries for 3 days.

Q:
Has this lock down changes your working mode? Is it very different from going to work in the company? What is a typical work day and weekend day for you, during this quarantine?
A:
For a freelancer like me, I am used to working from home. Due to the lockdown, we can't go out to attend any event or outdoor photo shooting, my current working mode is also producing content as home. There's not much difference between weekdays and weekends for me, everyday could be a day off or a content-creating day.

Q:
What are the warmest AND the most disappointing social news you saw, during this lock down?
A:
The warm thing is to see that we have a better neighbourhood relationship, everyone in our building is quite considerate and helpful towards the people in trouble. While the disappointment is that we can only rely on ourselves for the groceries.

Q:
We saw so much chaotic news every day, has this changed your impression about Shanghai? From 1-10, how much do you score for Shanghai’s lockdown solutions? Any suggestions to improve?
A:
As a person who grew up in Shanghai, now I am feeling a lower sense of security in this city. I would score 5, mainly for the selfless effort from the volunteers and stuff. But honestly, the policies to protect us were less than our expectations.

Q:
How do you manage to keep your mind relatively stable during this special period? Have you found some good ways of releasing stress or depression?
A:
Stay in your normal routines, read some positive books or watch some good movies. My ways of keeping my head up is to cheer with my friends and to have the faith of everything will be just fine.
7.
Q:
From the lock down, are there any positive lessons or messages that you want to share with other people?
A:
I summarised a few points: 1. learn to filter and stop spreading the negative messages; 2. plan well for everyday life, even if you are staying home, you can still do something meaningful;3. make sure you make time for sports or reading, which will making you feel good, and don't let your body or mind to stop;4. make up & dress up for yourself ,even if you are at home and has no audience.
